With work and family commitments these days, it becomes a challenge to meet up with old school mates and friends. Many times, we still do meet up with a few closer friends but for our other classmates, we could probably have lost contact. These days, I’m always looking forward to wedding dinner, its an expensive dinner, but at least, I get to meet up with many friends whom I’ve not seen for years.
Last month, I was invited to the wedding dinner of Benjamin, my secondary school friend. When I’ve arrived, I was heartened to see many friends whom I’ve not seen for at least 10 years. I personally thought it was quite freaky as we were chatting and telling each other how we get to know how each of us are doing via Facebook. But I guess meeting up face to face is better than we constantly get updates via Facebook. Though it was just a 3 hours plus dinner, but I definitely had an enjoyable and memorable night.
