I was sending my Dad for a medical checkup at Changi General Hospital this morning and due to the rain, the basement carpark was full, as expected. Fortunately, I’m able to get a parking lot after cruising around for about 10 minutes. About 2 hours later when we were about to leave, we found a car parked illegally which we realised, that we could not leave the parking lot at all.
We called the parking management and they told us that they couldn’t do much since the car was not listed on their season parking list and they are unable to make a broadcast announcement. Surprisingly, the driver turned up 5 minutes after my call ended and was not apologetic to the inconvenienced he had caused not just to me, but other drivers as well as staff and wheel chair bound patients who were needed to use the ramp which he was blocking.
Anyway, I gave up on sending an email to CGH as I thought it will be quite meaningless.
