Twitter Dads? What does it means? Its a term I’ve learnt at the recent Dads For Life Conference 2011 and it literally meant Dads who were tweeting on Twitter. This was just one of things that I’ve learnt. I was recently invited to the conference but unfortunately, I could not attend the entire session due to prior engagements. Nevertheless, I got the opportunity to meet up with some of the people behind DadsforLife.sg, Hillary and Paul and got a better understanding of the entire Dads For Life campaign.
I also had the opportunity to meet with up with several dads and understand from them how they manage their children. I understand from the organizers that the publicity of the event was done via emailers and radio on Gold 90.5. Seriously, I’m not too sure how many people listen to Gold 90.5 and I’m quite sure the participants did not get to know about the conference from the radio. BUT the response for the conference was pretty encouraging and this conference was already into its 2nd year.
Well, I hope I will get an opportunity to attend the conference again next year and get to meet other daddies as well to learn more from them.
