Our visit to Punggol Promenade

Punggol Promenade has been opened for more than 2 months and I’ve finally found some time to visit this place with Ethan and Ezanne. 5 years ago, the place where we went to was just a bare land but 5 years later, it has a F&B cluster (which I’m still quite surprised how did everyone found out about this place) and beautiful landscape that had been created.

When we first started our trail, we saw a fitness station and some weird looking bicycle park. Since there isn’t any bicycles, Ethan and Ezanne decided to have some fun.

Even the toilet had this really modern facade. It surely not the typical one you see at other neighbourhood parks.

The promenade will eventually bring us to Punggol End and so while construction is still on-going for the remaining stretch, the bridge to Lor Halus was opened and this bridge was yet another architecture wonder I thought. Its simple yet abstract.

Just before we visited Lor Halus, we heard that there were wild boars at Lor Halus and thought it will be a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the animal. Ethan and Ezanne were getting excited too but well, we did not get to see it.

Just before we left, we were greeted with a beautiful sunset.

I can’t wait for the rest of the promenade to be opened and will definitely bring Ethan and Ezanne there again.
