Finally, General Elections 2011 is over. I’m not trying to talk politics here or be political about stuff, but I just thought this is one of the most intense competition that I’ve ever seen (or at least I can remember). I met him briefly and thought he was a really nice man. He has done a great job as a foreign minister and hope to continue to see him to be involved in the future in shaping Singapore.

Aljunied has lost a good MP and Singapore has lost a good Minister. Like you, I hope he would continue to serve Singapore but perhaps in another capacity. He is a rarity.
