Communicating with the children

As a parent, I think both Ethan and Ezanne (especially Ethan) has reached a point where we need intensive two way communication. Two way communication I mean to talk to them, learn from the school how they are progressing, understand their problem and solve the problem with them. As a young parent, I thought I had a advantage as compared to other parents since I’m younger, which means, hopefully, I can communicate with my children since I will be able to better relate to their problems.

I remembered one night when I had a heart to heart talk with Ethan. That talk made me changed somewhat on my thinking and how I plan the road ahead for them. While we are all busy at work, trying to make more money for the children’s future, we need to maximize the time we spend together and get the most out of it. Its challenging but I thought, its worth trying.

The children can be busy with what they are doing (like how engrossed they are with the iPad and iPhone) but with the right intervention, I guess, we can still communicate and work things out.
