The food are cheap but…

The food in KL are cheap but so far, I don’t really like the shopping here. Probably I do not know where to go to get cheap stuff and probably I don’t have enough time to move around, those could be the reasons why I probably did not explore much of KL.

Some of my notable discoveries…

1) Kim Gary in KL is so cheap. With almost the same amount of food I ordered, the price is nearly halved in KL as compared to Singapore.

2) I was shopping at Isetan and came across a 70% sale for bed sheets. 70% sale which meant I got 2 sets for just $35 Singapore dollars. They did not put up any posters on the sale, therefore I think you really need to walk into the departmental stores to explore it.

3) In terms of transport, given the distance, I thought its still quite reasonable if you take the limo from the hotel to airport or airport to hotel. From the airport to KL City cost me $73.40RM and from the hotel in KL city to the airport, it cost me $80RM. The monorail quite affordable too. 3 monorail stations cost me $1.60RM which is about S$0.70.

Do share with me by leaving your comments on where are the must go places in KL. Maybe I will be back the next time.

For shopping, you can go Bukit Bintang area. It is a good place to get the latest fashion with cheap price. But, it has to depend on your preference I think. China town has very cheap food as well! But, you need to search. And there’s a lot of tourist spot within walking distant from China Town.
