My first social media event had made me learn many things about organizing an event. I got to admit that organizing one is not easy, you need a venue, you need people to help you and you need people to attend. I’m glad that for this event, I’ve got Popeye’s Punggol to support by providing free space, drinks and door gift and my fellow neighbours like Nick Pan, Daphne and her boyfriend, Nic and Antonio to help.
Through the meeting, I’ve met great neighbours and friends and heard from others how we can further improve the next meetup. The purpose of the meeting was to allow the members of Punggol 21 Facebook fanpage and followers of @punggollatest know the person behind it and to understand from them how the fanpage and Twitter account can be improved further. I guess Punggol is the only town that has organized such an event.
I’m glad that I’ve heard many comments and appreciate the help from my team once again. For those who attended, I hope to see you in the next FBTweetUp if I’m going to do another one again (it really depends on demand).
