What to see in Macau?

Other than casinos, what are the places of interest in Macau? You can visit the Ruins of St Pauls, which was supposed to be a 16th century complex that consists of a cathedral and college. The complex was destroyed by fire and only the facade was left. Artifacts that were found at the site were on display, including the holy site, crypt.

Transport in Macau is cheap. We traveled from the city centre to one of the coastal area to see the statue of Guan Yin, that trip cost HKD $2 each. After seeing our thoughts, we all feel that it is a combination of Mother Mary and Guan Yin, no offence to anyone, but probably due to the European influence Macau had, it could be how the sculptor created it.

While on the way back to the ferry terminal, we saw a futuristic building.

We later found out that this building is actually the Science Centre which was just opened last year. Well, one day is probably enough to complete touring Macau, I thought it was a pity that we could not stay till the night to see the bright lights of Macau.
