Life as a young dad

Life as a young dad is fun and fulfilling yet stressful and needs sacrifices. I personally feel that because I’m young, I’m able to connect with my children, at least, I’ve got the energy to run around and play with them, though it can be really tiring at times. There are also some sacrifices you will need to make, less personal time and when you are meeting up with your friends, you either bring the children along or you simply don’t meet your friends at all.

3 children with 3 different characters and it can be really challenging to manage them. You cannot expect all to behave in the same way when the same command is given. 1 will be stubborn, the other might probably listen and maybe the third simply doesn’t bother at all.

Ethan is turning 5 this year and we are gradually teaching him how to be independent. He goes to school and he comes home to share with us or at least me to make it a point of what’s happening in school. Its a way of keeping communication going so that when he grows up and move on to primary and secondary school, he will just keep sharing with me (fingers cross).

Is there such a thing call Daddy’s girl? I don’t know but somehow, Ezanne does wacky stuff with me, like taking crazy photos and she is somehow alittle more attached to me. While Ethan sees me as a discipline master, Ezanne doesn’t thinks I am at all. She don’t believe in scolding but prefers sweet talk when disciplining her.

This 2 month old boy is certainly building his character. He hates to be alone and loves to communicate with his elder brother and sister. At this age, he is considered the more active one as compared to Ethan and Ezanne.

So who says there is no fun being a dad?
