The 1st day of 2011

Its the 1st day of 2011 and the 1st dinner that we had was a plate of Char Kway Teow (Fried Kway Teow) which was cooked by me for the very first time.

Its a rare sight to see me cooking such dishes and what are the comments that I’ve got from my dad, mum, son and maid? Its very good, very nice. You might think that they are giving me a politically correct answer but my dad insist that its really not bad. Ah, I personally thought its quite well done but there is still room for improvement and I can’t wait to cook it for wifey once her confinement is over.

What a great way to start 2011. Oh and by the way, I’ve recorded a New Year greeting by Ethan. He was alittle confused between Christmas and New Year and had no idea how the New Year greeting was supposed to be, but he still manage to record a greeting in the end. Enjoy!
