Our annual year end visit to ORCHARD ROAD

If I were to look at the calendar, we’ve visited Orchard Road much later as compared to previous years. But we were still pretty early considering Christmas was approximately 2 weeks away when we visited to see the Christmas Lightings.

I remembered last year, Ezanne was still a small girl and could not stay in the car for long, we had no choice but to stop at the open space carpark beside Wheelock Place and let her walk around. Fast forward, she is now enjoying what she see.

The lightings were generally much better this year, but there seems to be less places for photo opportunity.

It was the night when Zoukout was happening in Sentosa, so I thought, it will be less crowded. But I’m wrong, it was still very crowded and lots of people until when we were leaving at 10.30pm. We walk to Takashimaya as I wanted to show the children what a big Christmas Tree is all about.

The Christmas Tree was really big and I can’t fit it into the photo itself. For the whole night, Ezanne didn’t want to take photos until when she saw this window display.

Looking at this Christmas display reminds me of the one I saw last year at David Jones in Sydney, they were simply impressive as compared to this one that we see here. Nevertheless, the one we saw at Takashimaya is still something decent for the children to enjoy.
