Birthday celebrations came early for me this year, its 2 weeks earlier to be exact. As wifey was going to give birth to Evan anytime in December, she just couldn’t fixed any dates for a celebration. So one day, she just pop the question, “Can I celebrate the birthday for you tonight?” And I thought why not?
The reason was simple, since she is pregnant, her sixth sense should be pretty accurate and giving her hints when she was about to give birth.
The celebration was a simple one. Just 1 cake.
This year’s birthday is alittle different for me. Ethan and Ezanne has both grown up and somewhat knows what to do. They were helping to put the candles and eagerly waiting to sing the birthday song like how they usually does for the previous birthdays cake cutting we had.
Just before we sing the birthday song, we pose for a family photo first.
After the cake cutting and everything, Ethan pass me a slice of cake and said to me, “Happy Birthday Dad Dad” Well, I think no matter how simple this birthday is, having your own children saying Happy Birthday to you is the best birthday present I’ve ever had.
