Welcoming Evan to the family

Just a day before, wifey celebrated my birthday for me. While on the way to work, she suddenly asked if she should celebrate my birthday for me and I said YES. Her sixth sense was right and finally the next day (16 Dec), the wait was over and Evan was born. Wifey started to experience contraction at about 5am, but she was kind enough to woke me up only at 8am. I gave our gynae a call and he told me, “See you @ Labour Ward!”

Since this is our 3rd child, everything was pretty much in control except that administratively, it was somewhat different as wifey gave birth to our previous 2 children at KKH. Our gyane came and told me that wifey might be giving birth anytime soon and since I got to settle the payment first, I told the gyane, “Please tell the baby to wait for me to come back!”

Without any further delay, Evan was out after I return from making the payment.

After a while, both mother and son were brought to the ward. So who does Evan looks like? Erm…

I quickly brought the children to see their little brother and mother since they were really anxious to see them.

We will like to than our relatives, friends and colleagues who had visited us and sending us these wonderful gifts. For the friends who followed the LIVE Twitter update, we thank you for experiencing the joy with us.

Just before we end off this post, here’s a short video clip of Evan taken minutes after he was born.
