Wifey brought me once to Blk 29 Bendemeer Food Centre for breakfast. I chance up this stall that sells fried bee hoon and saw a long queue. When I first look at it, it was just a simple stall, nothing fanciful like what a usual stall is and it was just bare minimal.
What’s so special about this stall? Its operated by an uncle and aunty (ok, nothing so special). The fried bee hoon is cooked almost real-time – business is so good that the uncle got to keep standing near the wok to cook bee hoon. Occasionally, he will need to top up the other food like luncheon meat, egg, sausages etc as they run out pretty fast.
The bee hoon has a peppery taste, so if you love pepper, you will love the bee hoon. Its not too hard and not difficult to swallow at all. Its pretty cheap too. Depending on what you get, each packet costs around $2. Ever since I started eating, I’ve patronize this stall for at least 5 times and will continue doing so. You will need to be early to get what you want, else, food left will be quite limited.
So where do eat this? Its located at Blk 29, #01-15, Bendemeer Road, Bendemeer Food Centre. Try it, you will not regret it.
