From near 6000 tweets and back to near 1000 tweets, so what happened to my 5000 tweets? I don’t know. What I know is all thanks to World Cup, Twitter is unable to keep up with the load and the servers crashed. According to their official blog, they will be carrying out more maintenance work (outside World Cup time) to improve the situation.
As they have clearly put it, its the worst month for Twitter and frankly speaking, I’ve not experience so much problem until recently. 2 days ago, I could not even tweet at all. They had problem connecting to the server and it was 4pm in Singapore and I guess everyone in South Africa were tweeting about getting ready for the upcoming match. Then, it came duplicate tweets. Everyone were having duplicate tweets and for me, I just had to keep deleting the extra ones.
I hope the situation will improve and they will be able to bring back all my tweets.

Hey there, did u manage to get your tweets back? mine disappeared too.. a significant amount just suddenly vanished and i’m wondering if you managed to get them back..
It jus came back. Apparently, it was a temp problem.
