Staying near the airport has its advantage, just 10 minutes drive and we arrived at Changi Airport for dinner. Changi Airport is not as boring as you think, you can simply spend about 2 hours at the airport itself – either by patronizing any of the restaurants or walking aimlessly, enjoying the air con.
When we arrived at the airport, Ethan actually requested for a ride on the sky train. Since the airport was really crowded, we decided to bring him for a ride to Terminal 2 first and before deciding what to eat.
Both Ethan and Ezanne were getting excited about the ride and for Ezanne, its the first time that she is travelling in the sky train. I’m not too sure why the airport is really crowded today, could it be the opening of the IRs or more Singaporeans are going overseas or they are just like us, visiting the airport to kill our time? I’m not too sure…
After dinner, we pass by an area at the carpark where there were kid rides. We bought a ticket for Ethan and I left him alone to “drive” the jeep. He enjoyed himself very much and said that he wants to go back for more tomorrow. Guess what Ethan like about the driving? He loves banging other childrens’ car.
Guess how much the carpark charges are? It was just $2.50. If I’m not wrong, there is currently a promotion where parking charges are extremely cheap. So if you are free, you might just want to head to the airport to explore.
