Wifey told me, you really want to åå ¨åįž and YES, I’ve finally pass my IPPT after the 10th time. So what was the motivation that made me pass this time? Hmm, here are the reasons;
a. An email from someone who was really important who ask me if I’ve pass my IPPT and told me to pass on an urgent basis if I’ve not done so.
b. The promise that I’ve given to my boss that I’ll make sure I’ll pass the next time. Frankly speaking, when I was running, I always remembered what he told me, “How many times do you want to take your IPPT to pass?” Not too sure why, but this statement managed to keep me going which lead to the eventual victory.
c. The constant encouragement I’ve gotten from wifey.
Here’s a run down of statistics that lead to the success of this 10th attempt.
a. I’ve consumed 5 bananas in total for these IPPT attempts.
b. I’ve consumed 3 packets of energy gel from GNC to help me in running
c. Spent 7 Mondays, 1 Wednesday and 1 Friday attempting the IPPT
d. For each session, it takes about 2 hours
I personally thought, 10 times is a little too exaggerating, but its the perseverance that kept me going. Many people had told me that I should just go for cycling, but given my age, the place I came from, I’m more than determined to show people that I can do it.
By the way, thanks to everyone who had congratulated me in Facebook and Twitter.

hi Patrick,
i have failed IPPT before too.
And i felt guilty, going for RT, rather than spent quality-time with kiddos. Maybe another motivation for you?
cheers,
