Wendy’s Singapore

After watching the news about the opening of Wendy’s Singapore, finally had a chance to try it with wifey today after our haircut at The Sail. Its a typical Saturday evening and while walking towards Wendy’s, the entire Lau Pa Sat is generally quiet with little crowd. In case you are wondering where Wendy’s is, its located at Lau Pa Sat, on Shenton Way side nearer to SGX Building.

If you are someone who doesn’t eat beef (like me), you are actually left with quite few choices, fish burger, shrimp burger, fried chicken and baked potato and nuggets. Here’s the reason why I say few choices,
1. The fish burger that I had isn’t that fantastic cause they have little sauce in it, its like eating the fish fillet with bread only with almost nothing in it.
2. The nuggets were salty and luckily we only ordered 4. For your information, nuggets comes in either 4 pieces or 6 pieces
3. I had cheese and cheese baked potato and I would say this is one of the better off food that I got
4. Wifey had salad with grilled chicken and according to her, its normal

The queue was long and the service was rather slow. They actually only had 2 counters to serve. I will say they might have put in some effort in terms of marketing and making their presence known, but their food isn’t what I was expecting.

My overall rating is just 2.5/5.
