Kallang Wanton Mee

Don’t be mistaken by the name of the stall, its not located at Kallang but rather at Old Airport Road Market. My cravings brought me to this stall once again yesterday, since my dad suggested to have our lunch at Old Airport Road Market. The noodles are chewy and the sauce is just right. As compared to the other 2 famous stalls, I will say that this is the best, though I thought that the servings could be alittle more when I ordered the large one.

I will rate this 4.5/5.

What motivates us to work hard?

While being alone, I start thinking why do we work so hard at times? What do we work for? For passion? For money? For family?Well, I asked my friends on Facebook and generally, they said we work hard for our passion. I kinda of agree, if not, I would not have survived where I was for 4 years.

張韶涵 – 白白的

張韶涵 went “missing” for more than a year and this time round, she return with her latest song, 白白的. I always thought that she has a funny vocal but this time round, she delivers this song beautifully. I personally thought the video is done pretty well too. By the way, this song is No.1 on Yes 933 chart show.

Singapore Flyer, the 2nd time…

Family Photo

Well, its the 2nd time that Ethan, Jingyi and myself took the ride at Singapore Flyer, while the first for my parents and Ezanne. Ethan has waited for this day for a very long time. Each time, passing by Singapore Flyer along Benjamin Sheares Bridge, he will definitely say that he want to take a ride on the flyer. On Friday evening, I told him,

If it doesn’t rain on Saturday, then we will be going for the Flyer ride, but if it does, then you got to wait the next time.

You will know how excited he was cause on Saturday morning he told me,

Dad Dad, its not raining, we can go Flyer.

It was about 6pm when we reached Singapore Flyer and it was actually drizzling, but luckily, the flyer was still operating. Ethan was simply too excited when he got into the capsule. He was walking around and exploring and was so excited that he started to pose when taking pictures during the ride.

The ride took about 30 minutes and when we came out of the capsule, Ethan said,

I want to come flyer again.

I was really happy that Ethan enjoyed the trip and he was so happy that he would go around telling people that he went to the Flyer when he was asked how he spent his Saturday. After all, this is one of the few weekend that I brought the family out worry free. Our next trip will be back to the Zoo and I hope, he will enjoy himself once again.

We ended our day at Popeye for dinner and after that a family photo shoot just outside Singapore Flyer.

You are so busy yet you can…

Tweet, Facebook and Blog! This is the comments that I’ve got recently. Many people around me are just surprise how come I keep complaining that I’m busy yet I can still do the 3 task that I’ve just mentioned. I can only say that these are some ways for me to de-stress. In any case, accessing these 3 tasks are simple job, its just a touch screen away, I mean I can do it via my phone.

So what’s your way of de-stressing?

Thai Accent

My week ended with another farewell lunch from a department head, Mr U. The best thing about him is that he is not my boss at all, yet, he gave me a farewell lunch, just to thank me for helping his department. He is so nice that he asked me to choose a restaurant and choose the food that I want to order (its really hard to find such a nice guy these days). So we decided to head to Thai Accent at Vivocity.

Service
Excellent service and great view (I mean in the future lah, what you see now is the construction of the almost completed Resorts World @ Sentosa). When you enter, they staff will greet you in Thai, which I thought was something which you can’t find in other Thai restaurant like Thai Express. They were friendly and shared with us their chef’s recommendation which help us alot when we were ordering our food.

Food
I’m not really a Thai Food lover but the food just blows me away. The Tom Yam soup was fantastic, they had mushrooms and really big prawns in it. It was spicy but not so spicy that I couldn’t take it. We had sea bass, softshell crab, kangkong and chicken with cashew nuts. Simply, there were no complains about the food. We practically finish up all the food that we had.

Thai Accent

I had Thai Ice Tea which was yummy.

Conclusion
This place is a must go and I rate 4.5 out of 5 for it. Pls don’t ask me what was the damage as I did not pay for it and had no chance to take alook at the bill at all.
