We are now officially one more step closer to Australia. We’ve collected Ethan’s passport and we’ve applied for the Visa. We are now left with getting our luggage repaired (it was faulty after our HK trip) and checking through the itinery that Jingyi has planned.
On the passport, we collected it from ICA like 2 weeks back. It was surprising and shocking cause when we collected our queue ticket, it was indicated that there were 200 people in front of us. We can’t be sitting down aimlessly and I suggested going for a quick meal. We had ours at the coffeeshop which was located opposite ICA since the canteen was closed for renovation. We’ve waited for 45 mins before it was our turn to collect Ethan’s passport (including the time taken to eat).
As for the Visa, we’ve got it from Pricebreakers. It was about $20 Singapore dollars per visa which I thought was already quite cheap since it cost $20 Australian dollars per visa if you applied it online. But I was told by my colleague that we can actually get it for $10!
I’m now also thinking how should I tweet, facebook and update my blog in Sydney. I was advised by Starhub not to bring my Max Mobile to Sydney otherwise I’ll be incurring thousands of dollars for my bills. If you know how to surf, do let me know.
