Statistics and Exam…

Over the past week, I’ve been preparing for a set of statistics that was to be presented next week. It appears to be something really straight forward at first, but after sometime, it was clear that it was not as simple as I’ve thought. Lunch time discussions became a norm for me and my other 2 colleagues. With the various spreadsheets that we were supposed to update, it was a challenge to update and ensure that all numbers synchronised with each other and were right. After all, if the numbers provided is wrong, it will not only affect the 3 of us, but everyone in the organization as a whole. We became so detailed that we found it so difficult to even zoom in to spot a +1 or -1 difference (if you know what I mean). Every detail got to examine closely to ensure that each and every number is not missed out.

Since I’m busy preparing the stats, it means that my exam next week is seriously at stake. When Ezanne was first born, I thought that those time will be difficult for me to study for my exam, but it turn out that it was ok for me and now, it seems, it really difficult. Even when I’m at home, I’ll start thinking if the numbers are right and of course if everything is in order in office. I’m glad that my first 2 papers on Monday and Wednesday are open book, but again, open book papers has their challenges as well. I just hope that I will be able to attain a pass (oh please no supp papers) and I’ll be really happy.

Pray for me pls.
