Its alittle lagging but I just thought I should just blog about the SAYG Torch Relay (Marina Bay leg) that happened on 28 June. It was my first time witnessing a torch relay and it was simply a great experience since I’ve never seen how a torch relay was done. I was waiting at the Marina Square steps and I saw the team of torch bearers running from Ritz Carlton direction towards us. Minister Vivan took over the torch and started running from Marina Square to Raffles City.
I did the thing that people would have not imagine, I was running along the pavement to catch up with minister. It was hot, but it was fun.
ps: I know my photography skills is not there yet, but given the situation at that time (there were too many official cameraman around), I just couldn’t position myself properly to take a proper picture. But nevertheless, I’ll try to take better ones next time.
