It just don’t seem to be. Projects are streaming in non-stop, with a new one on every 2 to 3 days, ad-hoc stuff that needs to be looked into with some form of urgency and never ending meetings. A quick look at my phone calendar just indicate that I’m fully booked next week. On a bright side, its not a bad thing at all, at least the boss trust me to assign me with projects, so I just need to pull through and stay cool to work things through.
Longest Meeting since 2 years
Yesterday, I attended the longest meeting since 2006. In 2006, I attended a meeting which started at 9am and ended around 10pm (approx. 13 hrs). This time round, the meeting took about 5hrs and I was actually late for my appointment. Jingyi got to my workplace early and waited for me for about 1.5hrs (oh oh, she gotta wait again). I apologize and frankly speaking, I didn’t expect the meeting to end this late. I was also late for my appointment at Central! So in the end, I foot the bill (since we agreed that the last person will pay, and I was pretty confident at first that I will not be the last). Anywayz, they were kind enough to get the vouchers for me to offset the bill.
The Appointment
It was the appointment with some of my friends whom we last met a few months back. There were the usual suaning and gossiping and I really enjoy it. But since I was late, such gossiping time did not last long. Hmm, I hope there will be another one coming soon.By the way, some time were also spent to look for the meeting place, to the person who design Central, “For the next shopping mall that you are designing, please keep the layout simple and straighforward, seriously, I don’t think I will want to shop in such a complicated mall like Central.”
The Monsters
Another reason why we could not stay late was because the 2 monsters at home were making so much noise. Ethan kept asking my mum to call us to check on us to see what time we will be back home, and Ezanne just refuses to sleep. And by the time we reach home… BOTH SLEPT!
