I got to admit his courage for nominating himself for the award and it really paid off after his persistence. But seriously, when you finally get it, I don’t think there is a need to tell me the rubbish and stuff like, “I don’t get a chance anymore the next time” etc.
I think the awards available are always there, but its more on your capability, whether will your bosses recognise you to get it. And ever since the day I knew this colleague of mine who have nominated himself, I told myself that I’m glad that it was my boss who have nominated it. And I don’t understand why must he go around telling people that he is competing with me and this is his last year.
Haiz, maybe this is life, some people like fame some people doesn’t. Some people like to make known things that they’ve done, some people don’t.
