The preparation of how to sabo the groom for my cousin Michelle’s wedding actually started on Valentine’s Day. But discussion between my dad, mom, Jingyi and myself actually only ended on 15 Feb at 1am, which means I’ve only got 2 hours to sleep.
This should be the only customary wedding that I’ve ever attended at such early hours. To think of it, makes me tired, but again, being given the chance to be part of the 姐妹团, gives me the motivation to wake up early.
The groom came at about 5.15am and that’s when the action started. The negotiation, the different tests the groom and his brothers have to go through and of course, our family participation. By the way, 姐妹团 not only consist of Michelle’s friends, but my cousins, aunties and uncle too!
About an hour later, the groom finally got the clearance to see Michelle and their wedding journey officially commence. After she left, there isn’t much stuff for us to do. I was so tired that I tried to sleep but couldn’t and started chatting with my cousin. We were saying, what if Jingyi gave birth on this special day? We then laugh if off and said that it just won’t happen, cause even buy 4D also strike so easily.
Jingyi came at about 9.15 and the first thing she told me, “You and your bad mouthed, I think I’m going to give birth soon!” I was like “WHAT! Is this real? What about the sabotage that we had planned for the tea ceremony?”
By 10am, Jingyi has shown obvious signs that she is in labour and we just couldn’t wait any longer to proceed to KKH and there goes our tea ceremony. More of the labour will be elaborated in my next post.
By evening, I still made it to the dinner but feeling bad that Jingyi couldn’t be with me. Anyway, I din really enjoy since Jingyi was not with me. I just felt that there is something missing with me. Ethan enjoyed the Yam Seng which he shouted to his hearts out. The dinner ended with a family photoshoot (which I hope to post it in the future).
