This was really one of the worst experience I had with Citibank. I went to the Capital Square branch to deposit the money to pay my credit card bill. Enter my pin number and slotted in the cash, then the problem came. 5 minutes passed and the machine was still counting the money. The screen hang!
Sensing that something was wrong, I called the customer service and this unfriendly Robert picked up. The first thing he piss me off was that he told me to continue to wait. I was like HUH! This was the conversation,
Me : The machine hang and it seems like its still counting the money.
Robert: Oh, sometimes its a system error, please continue to wait for 5 minutes then give us a call again
Me : Huh, you told me system error and you still want me to wait?
Robert: Erm, let me check.
He then told me that they will only be able to get back to me on the case on Monday as their staff were not working on Saturday and Sunday. Fine, so I asked him how he was going to assure me that the money is save, since no one can gaurantee if the money has actually went into the machine or is still in the Cash In slot. He can’t answer me.
Me : So do you know which ATM is faulty?
Robert: No, will you be able to let me know the number?
Me : There isn’t any ID on it
Robert: *remains silent*
This entry is to alert everyone on the effiency level of Citibank on the whole and seriously, maybe I should consider changing my credit cards to other banks.
And like what I told the manager, their service SUCKS!
