This evening, I’ve received an email from my colleague from another department that my project that has gotten me 2 GOLD Award in 2008 will be competing at the coming NIQC Competition in March. My project is the only one that will be representing my division, on the whole, there are 11 teams representing our organization. And if I win in the convention, I’ll be able to represent my organization and country to go to Cebu, Phillippines to compete with other international teams.
I’ve got to say that when I first started embarking on this project with my ex-boss, we’ve got no intention of winning any award in mind. It was purely on the basis that we want to improve the working environment of our other colleagues. I’m really glad that this project has exposed me to many people and able to win the many awards and recognition.
