For a non-smoker like me, the expansion of the places included in the No Smoking Zone from 1 January 2009 is defintely a great news for me. At least, I’ve less places to suffer as a 2nd hand smoker.
The new areas are;
• Lift Lobbies
• Markets
• Multi-storey & Basement Carparks
• Hotel Lobbies
• Ferry Terminals
• Playgrounds
• Exercise Areas
• Non Air-conditioned Shopping Centres, Shops,
Factories & Offices
• Within 5 metres of Entrances & Exits
