Who says Punggol is a boring town? Punggol Gardens, the cluster of flats which I’m actually in, had our first Halloween Party at the multi purpose hall. Preparations started as early as Thursday evening, but I only joined in on the late Friday afternoon. I helped the gals to design part of the multi-purpose hall. The most shiok part was seeing the banner that I designed hung at the different parts of Punggol Town.
The event started at about 8pm with a magic show followed by a fancy dress competition and subequently movie screening. The response for the fancy dress competition was better than expected, 41 kids participated! They dressed as dracula, Pumpkin Pooh, Pumpkin, Mummy and many more. The entire program ended at about 10.30pm.
So do you think Punggol is boring? Personally, I don’t think so.
