iPod Shuffle

Haha, finally managed to convince Jingyi to let me buy the Apple iPod Shuffle. The 1GB Shuffle costs $78. I don’t need the Nano cause its too big for me, especially when I want to use it when I run. I got it online, thanks to XI who told me that there is free engraving, and I got the exclusive Red edition. Its really cool. Some people might think that its girly, but I simple don’t think so. Oh btw, I also like Pink colour too…

Jingyi is in the 3rd Trimester

The third trimester is the last stage of pregnancy. She is currently 26 weeks pregnant and has approximately another 14 more weeks to go before giving birth. I’m just so excited and looking forward to go to the delivery suite and go through the entire process again. So what are the things that she can do now?

a. She has consumed her last dose of TCM and will only see the physician after giving birth.
b. She can start to consume some “cold” stuff (eg, sugarcane, soft drinks) but got to keep it to the minimal.
c. She can also start consuming bird nest (so happy, cause she eat, I also can eat)

She is also able to feel the movement of the baby now. Sometimes, she can even see the baby kick. So cool, but I’ve yet to witness it myself so far.

We went for a short shopping trip on Friday at Taka and was managed to get clothes for Ethan and No.2. And guess what, we managed to get the same design for the 2 little ones (so cute, will wait for No.2 to be born and wait for an appropriate day for both of them to wear the same thing, purposely got a bigger size one for Ethan). For the design of the clothes, we went for a more neutral one for the baby, just in case, its a boy. Though, seriously, I’ve got no preference if the baby is a boy or girl.

Haiz, and thinking of the name, at first I thought Evon was a nice name. But it seems to be too common, so now, I’m cracking my head to think of another one. I’ve got 14 more weeks to come up with a name. Jingyi’s next checkup is on 16 Dec so by then, hopefully, we will get more updates and advise from the gynae.

Goodbye Lancer…

Yesterday (Friday) was a difficult day for me. I was so happy to collect my new car, but was so sad to part with my old one… Afterall, my old car, a 1.6 Mitsubishi Lancer has brought me to so many places, and helped me achieved so many things.

The Mitusbishi Lancer was the first car that I owned and really, being the first car, I’m seriously attached to it. I brought it for regular servicing at the most expensive service centre, Cycle & Carriage, polish it regularly and gave it the best petrol for the best performance. The car clocked a whopping 56000km within 2 years (a mileage which many has asked me, how did I manage to clock so much within such a short period of time). In terms of performance, though slower in pickup, but overall fuel consumption is really good. Its about 14km per litre.

If not for my family expansion, I would not have change a car. If you’ve not seen my old car before, here’s a chance to see it for the one last time.

A day of terror attack and civil unrest (PART 2)

I didn’t want to make a Part 2 posts, but so many things has happened ever since I posted so I thought I should just update everyone.

A Singaporean hostage was confirmed killed in Mumbai. She is a 28 year old lawyer who was on a working trip. Its really sad to see someone died so tragically and especially to terrorism. Deepest condolence to her family and hope that she will rest in peace.

On a brighter side, Singaporeans now has to make a 2 hour bus to travel to U-Tapao International Airport to take rescue flights back to Singapore. Haiz, just hope that these incidents can quickly end.

A day of terror attack and civil unrest

Asia seems to be so messy now. Civil unrest in Bangkok and bomb blast in Mumbai.

In Bangkok, the PAD wants the Prime Minister to step down, but well, an election was held and he was the chosen one, how come they want him to step down? Wierd but well, maybe these people who stood for the rallies were the people who didn’t vote for the government. But crippling the airport is the not the way to do so. Many people are left stranded in the airport and unable to meet up with their loved ones. What about their accomodation needs? Financial Needs? Emotional Needs? Its something the protestors can’t compensate. And the disaster that they’ve caused to the country is enormous. Who would have confidence in the Thai tourism (except 1 person in my office who strongly believes so and insisted on travelling to Bangkok). With the current economic downturn, its defintely not a good move. There is no CNN at my workplace except for CNA, and getting the constant updates and seeing the footages from Bangkok, it really makes me feel so lucky living in Singapore.

Overnight, yet another tradegy happened. Bomb Blast occured in Mumbai. Tourists were held hostage, people were dead. Hmm, why would these terrorists wants to end people’s lives in such misery?? Btw, glad that the Singaporean hostage is finally release and hope that she is coping well with everything.

Ethan’s LATEST video

He hide! He show! He eat! He Count! This is Ethan’s latest video…

My leave plan

Finally had some time to work out my leave plan this afternoon. Conclusion, after clearing all the neccessary leave, I’ll only be working for 10 days in December (I meant on paper I’ll only be working for 10 days). Based on my working style, I expect to pop by office at times to check email etc.

Hmm, so why bother to clear leave…

Family breakfast on Saturday

Finally, the time has come to enjoy family breakfast with Jingyi and Ethan. This time, we went to Burger King at Parkway Parade.

As Ethan grows, he has become much more cheekier… You ask him to call Daddy, he will call Mummy. You ask him to kiss daddy, he will kis mummy. He is really getting on my nerve, but well, he is just so cute.
