Sambal Lunch

No, I did not have lunch in Brazil (don’t think I will ever get the chance to visit Brazil in my life), but I had a sumptous sambal chilli lunch at Newton Hawker Center. For your info, this is my first official visit to the hawker center (abit suaku), coz usually, I will only drive past.

Together with my 2 other colleagues, we had sambal stingray, sambal squid, kangkong and fried you tiao. The food were just right, not too hot for me and really tasty. Its kinda of weird eating such stuff during lunch, but nevertheless, it was a sumptous one that went well with sugarcane with lemon. I love the sugarcane with lemon as this is the first time that I can taste so much of lemon.

Total damage is about $50 plus and thanks to my 2 colleagues who treated me to this lunch. If you are interested to visit the stall, its stall No.16 and the sugarcane stall is just next to it.

anyway, for good stingray & seafood, can also go chomp chomp!! definitely better deal than newton! =)
