YES! The weather was fab and we’ve reached the Zoo at 2.30pm and was greeted by the Zoo photographer to take a family photo. Then we started our journey in the zoo. Snapping pictures and busy telling Ethan what the animals are. |
For a very very long time, we finally had a chance to watch the animal show by the elephants. It was not bad, but kinda of boring towards the end. Some observations we had
a. There were lots of different species of monkeys
b. The children world area is currently under renovation and the existing one is badly managed (especially the toilets)
c. The polar bear looked mal-nourished (very skinny)
(my favourite photo)
It has been a long long day for my parents cause my dad has been persuading me to take the tram, but I said NO! Coz personally I think its much more fulfilling to walk around then taking the tram, at least, I can stop whenever I want and explain to Ethan some of the stuff… Even Jingyi told me, “I think this is the one occassion that I’ve walked the most during my pregnancy”.
(Ethan thought this is Thomas the Train)
(Ethan with the Zebras)
Our day at the Zoo ended at about 6pm and we headed to IKEA for our dinner then off to Giant for some great buys.. $29.99 for a box of Pampers (usual price $44.99)… Being a typical Singaporean, I grabbed 4 boxes (that’s the most I’m allowed to buy) and store it in my car boot first…
